Problems with student access to Blackboard Learn

Currently, students in the pilot School may have trouble accessing Blackboard Learn (and if affected will be unable to log in at all). Staff access is unaffected. Computer Centre staff and the LTT are working on this as we speak: the issue seems to have been caused by the integration between SITS and the VLE (a temporary integration for SISCM, to be enhanced for the wider rollout) and student statuses affecting availability.

The data is all in the VLE, it’s just ‘hiding’ and we need to make it reappear again. I am hoping that this will happen either later this evening or first thing tomorrow.

Please email bbblearn@brunel.ac.uk with any queries. SISCM and the central service departments have been notified and I will post here again with updates.

On behalf of the LTT I apologise for the inconvenience this will cause to both students and staff and wish to emphasise the fact that we are working on this issue right at this very moment.
